What Information We Collect

We collect IP addresses temporarily for rate limiting (not stored beyond 2 hours). We store analysis reports for 7 days, and we keep a URL cache for 24 hours to speed up repeat checks unless you request a fresh analysis. We do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, or any personal information as part of the analysis process.

Tool traffic is treated as operational telemetry; we do not build individual marketing profiles from scan behaviour; we rotate identifiers used for abuse prevention; and we keep retention windows short by design.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide the URL analysis service and to enforce fair use limits (10 scans per 2 hours per IP address). We do not sell, share, or use your data for marketing or advertising targeting.

Fair-use counters reset on a fixed schedule; they exist to keep the service fast for everyone; they are not sold to data brokers; and they are not used to personalise on-site tool results beyond the limits we publish.

Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies to remember that you completed the CAPTCHA verification. We do not use tracking cookies.

Our website displays Google AdSense advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Third-Party Services

• Google PageSpeed Insights API: real performance data for analyzed URLs (URLs sent to Google's API, subject to Google's privacy policy).
• Upstash: database provider storing analysis reports for 7 days and URL cache data for 24 hours.

Each vendor processes data under its own terms; we choose providers that support short-lived storage; you should read their policies when you need vendor-level detail; and we list the main integrations here so you know where payloads may travel.

Data Retention

• Analysis reports: automatically deleted after 7 days.
• URL cache entries: automatically deleted after 24 hours.
• Rate limit data: automatically reset every 2 hours.
• CAPTCHA verification: automatically reset every 2 hours.
• We do not retain any personal data beyond what is listed above.

Retention timers start from when a record is written; deleting a report removes derived summaries we store alongside it; cache refreshes replace older snapshots; and nothing here is framed as long-term archival storage.

You may contact us to request deletion of any data associated with URLs you submitted. See our Contact page.

We respond to reasonable deletion requests tied to URLs you control; we may ask for proof of control when abuse is a concern; we document what we can delete within our retention windows; and we explain limits when a third party already purged their logs.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent update.

Material changes will be reflected in this document; minor clarifications may ship without a blog post; continued use after an update means you accept the revised text; and you should review this page periodically if compliance matters to your organisation.
